Make your event a memorable experience in your Patio Enclosures sunroom. The architecture is so organic, it's the perfect backdrop with or without decorating. Your sunroom gives you flexibility- use it as space for guests to converse, a place to sit and eat, a dance floor or a place to gather for the main event.
Getting Ready to Entertain in Your Sunroom
To get your house ready, cleaning your home and putting out a few flower arrangements is only the tip of the preparation iceberg. My first rule of thumb is to keep the cozy appeal of a house party, but remove the clutter. Rearrange tables so guests can get around them all together. Don't line your chairs up against a wall either. Instead, create intimate seating arrangements with your furniture to encourage discussion. If you're short on seating then rent some! Leave space on tables for guests to put their drinks down. If you're having treats passed around, place small bowls around the house for guests to discard their toothpicks and such. You can take the chairs away from the kitchen table, move it to the side and turn it into a food buffet table.
How many people can you invite? If your home is like most, a sit down dinner for 20 is pushing it, and 40 is your max for a cocktail party. This is where the sunroom helps as it creates a second area for your guests to enjoy.
Host your cocktail hour in the main part of the house and move to the sunroom for the dinner or dancing. My favorite use of a sunroom is an intimate wedding. Create a natural focal point with comfortable isle seatiing. Enjoy the feel of an outdoor wedding without annoying bugs and heels getting stuck in the dirt. And you won't have to worry about the weather. The party season is year 'round with your all season sunroom- enjoy having family and friends over to celebrate anything and everything.
