Patio Enclosures® Three Season Room Provide Beautiful Views—Rain or Shine
The owners of this Averill Park, NY, home enjoy their lovely backyard, located near West Sand Lake. While the deck on the second level provided fabulous views, it was open to the weather, limiting its use.
Looking for more living space, protection from the elements, and an area for entertaining, the homeowners decided to have a sunroom installed. Familiar with Patio Enclosures sunrooms and their reputation for high quality, the couple contacted Great Day Improvements™ of Albany, the exclusive manufacturer and installer of Patio Enclosures sunrooms.
Design Consultant Jim Wing met with the couple to discuss their needs, look over the property and take measurements. Jim then had Patio Enclosures’ in-house engineers design a custom three season room that would complement the home and become the focal point of the backyard.
Utilizing the existing deck and staircase, a spectacular sunroom was custom built that featured floor-to-ceiling glass (known as Patio Enclosures’ Edge-to-Edge Advantage™) to make the most of the expansive views from the upper level. The white, aluminum-framed sunroom has a shingled gable roof to match the home and the corners of the room are angled for visual interest, just like the deck. To finish the room, blinds were installed for privacy.
The homeowners were impressed with Patio Enclosures, particularly their design consultant and the installers.
The owners enjoy sharing their new sunroom with family, friends and neighbors who have commented on how nice it is. Summer parties are no longer cut short when rain moves in and the owners can soak up the sun and nature well into the fall season.
