Storm-Damaged Sunroom Gets Upgraded in West Seneca, N.Y.
The heavy snows in Buffalo, N.Y., in the winter of 2014 damaged this sunroom. The owners decided they not only wanted to replace the room, they wanted to upgrade.
Unhappy with the company that built the original sunroom, they contacted Great Day Improvements of West Seneca, New York, the exclusive manufacturer and installer of Patio Enclosures sunrooms, screen rooms and solariums. After meeting with the homeowners for a free, in-home design consultation, Patio Enclosures designed a new sunroom that would complement and enhance the home.
The new, four season sunroom has glass in the gabled roof for maximum light and floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows for expansive views. The vinyl frame with four-point welded corners is virtually maintenance-free, and the sandstone color matches the home’s siding. Triple polypropylene weatherlock with an interlock sash and double-pane, insulated glass keeps the winter winds out and the owners warm and toasty year-round.
The new sunroom provides expanded living space for entertaining or just kicking back to relax while enjoying nature, and the owners absolutely love it!
