Patio Enclosures Turns Screened-in Porch into Year-round Living Space
While this screened-in porch provided some protection from the elements in the summer months, when the North Carolina weather turned cool, the homeowners were forced to retreat inside. Furthermore, the rustic look of the porch did nothing to enhance the home’s exterior. Patio Enclosures, stepped in to upgrade and enhance the enclosure.
Keeping the existing roof, Patio Enclosures custom designed and custom manufactured a new four season room to fit the space. Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, double-pane insulated glass allows for abundant natural light and expansive views of the backyard, while keeping the room comfortable no matter the weather. The arch in the gable roof was opened up and glass was installed to provide even more light in the room. The white, insulated, virtually maintenance-free vinyl frame matches the existing trim on the home, and the white railing finishes the look.
The room is now as beautiful as it is functional, providing year-round space for entertaining, reading or just relaxing.
