Patio Enclosures® of Raleigh Adds a Four Season Room for Extra Living Space
Durham, NC, residents Mr. and Mrs. C. loved the character of their covered porch. But even with the mild North Carolina climate, there were still months every year that were too cool to use the open-air patio. And in the hot summer months, the bugs drove them inside.
Enter Patio Enclosures, Inc of Raleigh solved the problem by installing custom-fit, double-pane, insulated glass panels. The homeowners chose an all-season sunroom with a low-maintenance vinyl frame. Patio Enclosures uses only virgin vinyl when they custom manufacture every sunroom in their facility near Cleveland, Ohio. The vinyl frame is colored throughout with UV-stabilized tints to hide scratches from view and resist fading and discoloration.
Patio Enclosures’ vinyl extrusions are multi-chambered, 10 chambers in the vertical pieces and 16 chambers in the horizontal pieces, for strength and durability. This allows them to design their enclosures with larger doors for unobstructed views. In this Durham County porch enclosure, the railing of the existing porch was replaced with a glass knee wall to provide floor-to-ceiling glass for maximum views and sunlight.
The four season sunroom has expanded the family’s living space year-round, increasing the square footage and the value of the home. The owners are thrilled with the new space and love to show it off to family and friends.
